The pre-galvanized steel driver/junction box comes with a captive hinged junction box cover, making installation into the ceiling easier. It features three 1⁄2” conduit pry-outs and two Slide-N-Side™ non-metallic (NM) wire traps for wiring outside the box. The box accepts NM cable types: 14-2, 14-3, 12-2, 12-3 (U.S.) and 14-2, 14-3, 12-2 (Canadian). Additionally, it has three 4-port push wire nuts with clear caps for quick and reliable mains voltage connections and integral mounting holes for direct mounting to building structure.

The 72W 120V driver provides noise-free operation and continuous flicker-free dimming down to 5% with select phase cut dimmers. The installation can be done in 1/2” to 1-1/4” thick ceilings, with heat-treated springs holding the fixture fitting securely. Halo QuickLink Quick Connectors allow for quick installation of additional fixtures. The fixture also has a plurality of mid-power LEDs that provide a uniform source with high efficiency and a long life.

The color rendering index (CRI) is a minimum of 90 with R9 greater than 50 for high color rendering. It offers selectable color temperature with options of 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K CCT, and color accuracy within 4 SDCM. The fixture meets ENERGY STAR® color angular uniformity requirements.

Suitable for any room, this fixture allows for selecting the desired color temperature during installation, ranging from 2700K (Soft White) to 5000K (Daylight). It provides 975 lumens of brightness, making it suitable for any room, while the 90 CRI brings out true colors. It offers long-lasting, maintenance-free operation for up to 50,000 hours.

The installation is made easy with the Halo QuickLink Starter Kit, which includes a 72W low voltage remote power supply, 35ft of low voltage cable, and (4) 6 Inch LED fixtures. It features QuickLink connectors for ultra-fast wiring and installation, and allows for powering up to 7 light fixtures with one power supply. The fixture also self-healing cable, allowing for repositioning of fixtures. It directly mounts to the ceiling and does not require a recessed housing or junction box, fitting in 1/2” thick ceilings.

The fixture is made of high-quality materials, with a die-cast aluminum mounting frame with integral flange for passive thermal cooling. It also features a high impact diffuse lens that provides shielding to the light guide minimizing pixilation and a closed cell gasket that achieves restrictive airflow requirements without caulking. The power supply and LED fixtures are IC (insulation contact) rated and Energy Star certified.

Listed for wet locations, the fixture is ideal for indoor or outdoor soffit lighting applications, including showers and protected ceilings. It can be used in indoor and outdoor areas like covered porches, outdoor walkways, showers, and indoor dining areas.
